HAUSKA TUTUSTUA !
I am Marianne, a French and Finnish graphic designer. I started my career in 2014 and I've been living in Finland and Espoo since 2019.
I have a passion for design, architecture, and languages. I love learning new things and immerse myself in new topics, the latest ones being figure ice skating, knitting, growing my own veggies and identifying mushrooms.
I speak French and English on a daily basis, and I try to include Finnish (intermediate level/B1.2) as much as possible in my daily-life. My Spanish is a bit rusty but my experience has proven that it can come back pretty easily.
I like when things are simple, straight and elegant, so I try to design following these personal rules. Graphically, I am interested by perception games and optical illusions.
Adobe CC softwares are my everyday tools, and I never say no when it comes to do or learn something new!
I am working since 2020 in the Brand and Creative team at Aalto University.
Prior to this, I have been freelance for 6 years, and have also worked in a group of private universities in France, as in-house graphic designer. When moving to Finland, my professional journey has been challenged, and it took me 2 years to find my balance, learn Finnish language and rebuild confidence.
